About Griffin Motion
Griffin Motion was founded in 2005 with the specific goal of providing high precision motion products to the OEM market place. Our dedication to perfection allowed for a foothold in a very competitive environment. Our philosophy is to treat our customers as we would like to be treated!
Our purpose is to make your project a success. In order to accomplish that, Griffin Motion follows four simple steps. First, we ascertain an understanding of our customer’s applications, goals and requirements. Second, we work closely with our customers to develop a detailed product specification, identifying what is critical to success while recognizing what is not. Communication with our customers is essential to designing and building a system that will provide excellence. Thirdly, we determine the correct solution to the challenge whether it be a stock offering, a modified stock offering or a completely custom system. Finally, we utilize superior manufacturing and assembly techniques along with complete conformance testing to ensure our customers success.
Griffin Motion controls every aspect of the product from design, to manufacturing, assembly, test and certification. We utilize the latest version SolidWorks for our engineering department to model and design our products. Our design philosophy incorporates a very high level of flexibility. Our products are highly modular designs that allow for the addition or subtraction of many options. That allows the customer specific performance requirements to be met without having to pay for options that they do not need. This process helps to standardize inventory, reduce lead times and allows for highly competitive pricing without having to buy hundreds of stages.
Our in house machine shop handles all of our production and prototyping work. The machine shop is filled with only the highest quality machine tools to allow for the highest precision parts. Our assembly processes are tightly controlled with continuous control parameters to ensure perfection at completion. Our testing department utilizes Renishaw lasers and optics to offer confidence in the performance of the products delivered.
As we have grown we have responded to market demands by meeting the needs of customers across many sections of the market place including: Semiconductor manufacturing, Aerospace, Laser Machining, Medical applications, University research, Automotive testing and manufacturing, and Military projects. We have broadened our product line to include vacuum rated stages, Class 100 clean rooms stages, harsh environments stages, and wide temperature stages.
In the fall of 2014 we moved into our new 20,000 sqft facility increasing our capacity. This new space allows for continued expansion our manufacturing capabilities to service our growing customer base.
Our commitment to quality and excellence shows in every single customer interaction and product that we deliver. Please call or email us to see how we can help you with your motion needs.
